Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page says how to ask, what happens next, and how long it takes.
How to ask
Send one email
Email privacy@yosefsonlace.com with the subject line Data deletion request. Tell us the email address, phone number or name the information is filed under. If you are asking on behalf of someone else, say so and say who.
You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
We may ask one question to confirm the request comes from you. That is to stop somebody else deleting your record, and we ask for the least we need.
What happens next
Three steps, and the clock on each
We acknowledge
Within two business days of your email, a person replies to confirm we have the request and what it covers.
We find every copy
We search each system listed below, not only the one you contacted us through, and tell you what we found.
We delete and confirm
Within 30 calendar days of your first email, we delete what we can, tell you plainly about anything we are required to keep, and confirm in writing when it is done.
What we hold
Where your information could be
These are the only places personal information reaches us. A deletion request covers all of them.
| Source | What it holds |
|---|---|
| The contact form on this site | Name, work email, company, the function you selected, and what you wrote. |
| Email you sent us | Your address and the contents of the thread, in our Google Workspace mailboxes. |
| Our outreach records | Business contact details gathered from public business listings and company websites — typically a company name, a public email address, and a note on why we thought the company was a fit. If we emailed you and you never replied, this is the only record we have of you. |
| Our Facebook Page | Comments, reactions and messages you sent to the Page stay on Facebook's systems under Facebook's own terms. We can delete comments and messages on our side; deleting your Facebook account data is a request you make to Meta. |
Our Facebook application publishes posts to our own Page. It does not read, collect or store personal information about anyone who visits or follows the Page.
The limits
What we keep, and why
If we have worked together, Philippine tax and corporate law requires us to keep invoices, contracts and the records behind them for a set period. We keep those and nothing more, and we tell you which records they are and when they can go.
We also keep a suppression record after a deletion request — your email address, and nothing attached to it — so that our systems do not contact you again. Deleting that record would remove the only thing stopping a future email. If you would rather we delete it too, say so and we will.
If we get it wrong
Your right to escalate
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you may complain to the National Privacy Commission if you are not satisfied with how we handled your request. You do not need our permission and you do not need to wait for us to finish.
